Mariposa EMCC
The Mariposa County Emergency Medical Care Committee (EMCC) provides information, evaluation, and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and other agencies on all matters pertaining to emergency medical care in Mariposa County. The Committee submits a report to the Board of Supervisors at least annually.
Membership
Members are appointed by the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors from the following categories:
| Public Agency Representation | Sheriff's Office; California Highway Patrol; CAL FIRE; Health Department; County Fire Department |
| Provider Representation | Community physician; contracted ambulance provider; MICN base station liaison |
| Citizen Representation | Citizen from South County; representative of the Northside Ambulance Association |
Meetings. The Committee typically meets the first Thursday of even-numbered months. Meeting dates may be adjusted when conflicts occur; agendas are posted in the Document Library.
