Pit Crew CPR

Pit Crew CPR applies a team approach to prehospital cardiac arrest care: every provider has an assigned position and task, just like a racing pit crew, so high-quality compressions continue without interruption.

CPR training that includes real-time audiovisual feedback and emphasizes this team-based approach has been shown to increase survival from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest by almost 60 percent. The results of the clinical trial of scenario-based training were published in Annals of Emergency Medicine: "The Influence of Scenario-Based Training and Real-Time Audiovisual Feedback on Out-of-Hospital Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Quality and Survival From Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest."
