MCI Field Operations

Welcome to the MCEMSA MCI Field Operations Self-Study page. These four modules satisfy the MCI (Multi-Casualty Incident) training requirement for every MCEMSA certification, recertification, accreditation, and authorization. Read all instructions before starting the tests.

How the modules work
  • You will be asked to register at the beginning of each of the four self-study modules.
  • Each module ends with a 20-question quiz; each question is worth 5 points.
  • You must score 80% or better on each quiz to receive CE credit.
  • Each module is worth 1 hour of CE credit (4 hours total).
Requirements under Agency Policy 853.00, Prehospital Standards
  • Completion of all 4 modules is mandatory every two (2) years.
  • Save or print all 4 CE certificates. If you apply online, submit them as PDF or JPEG files.
  • Certificates must be dated no earlier than 90 days before you submit your certification, recertification, re-authorization, accreditation, or continuous accreditation application.

The Modules

Each row pairs a module with its companion reference document. The reference documents can be used while testing; the module content itself is not contained in these files, they are provided to help you complete the modules successfully.
